your thoughts become your world

An ongoing series of more than 280 abstract paintings organised into seasonal palettes.

The works can be experienced as individual paintings, curated weekly arrangements, or as larger seasonal constellations.

The four seasons

About the work

The paintings draw on a consistent repertoire of abstract shapes that repeat, reverse, and recombine. Connections emerge through comparison and memory, revealing subtle shifts, contradictions, and harmonies over time.

As soon as a few paintings are seen together, relationships emerge, even as each remains distinct. As more are encountered, further connections come into play, yet the unfolding never feels random. Looking becomes an active process.

The works are not intended as isolated images, but as parts of an evolving field. Colour, form, and repetition build across the series, allowing perception to develop.

Read Abstraction and Justice, an essay on the work by Richard Dienst, Professor of English, Rutgers University.
